Be you young or old, lone traveler, group of friends or family, Zaara Travels Adventure itinerary is designed exclusively for spirited adventurers! You will be visiting exciting beaches, go on white water rafting, hiking, camping on misty and exciting mountain tops and surfing, diving and snorkeling in the best of the beaches all around Sri Lanka. We are happy to adjust the itinerary according to your preference with accommodation and transport provided throughout your tour.

Places You Will Stay 7 Days

Day 01 : Colombo

You will be picked up from Colombo International Airport and a Zaara Travels representative will accompany you to Colombo in a comfortable vehicle to your accommodation.
You will stay at Colombo as your first stop of the tour.

Day 02 : Sigiriya

Your journey to Sigiriya will be a 4 to 5 hours of a drive
Your first adventure will be the climbing and exploring Sigiriya Lion Rock or the rock fortress for its historical ruins and panoramic view on top.
Then you will be taken to the Pidurangala rock where you will find a temple and stunning views on the top.
You will have a visit to the local village to explore its livelihood and try local food as well.
You will be visiting the famous Kandalama Lake and be headed to accommodation.
You will stay overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 03 : Dambulla & Kandy

You will have your breakfast at the hotel and will be accompanied to visit the infamous cave complex in Dambulla which will be a minor climbing activity,
Then you will be headed straight to Kandy to visit “Sacred Temple of Tooth” in Kandy.
You will stay overnight in Kandy.

Day 04 : Knuckles

Early morning, you will head to Mathale and start the trekking in splendid Knuckles Mountain Range.
You will come back to Kandy for the overnight stay.

Day 05 : Kithulgala

Having breakfast in Kandy, you will be headed toward Kithulgala to enjoy thrilling experiences such as white water rafting and waterfall abseiling.
The lunch will be a delicious authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry.
You will stay overnight at Kithulagala.

Day 06 : Colombo

After having the breakfast in Kithulgala you will be headed to Sadun Falls for an adventurous waterfall abseiling.
You will come back to Colombo for the sightseeing and shopping in the capital of Colombo and get ready for your departure.
You will stay overnight in Colombo as your final day of the tour.

Day 07 : Airport

Marking the end of your Adventure tour in Sri Lanka, our representative will drive you to the airport depending on the time of your flight.

Places You Will Stay 14 Days

Day 01 : Colombo

You will be picked up from Colombo International Airport and a Harrods travel representative will accompany you to Colombo in a comfortable vehicle to your accommodation.
After you freshen up, you will be headed to explore the city of Colombo.
You will stay at Colombo as your first stop of the tour.

Day 02 & 03 : Anuradhapura

The next day you will head on to Ancient Anuradhapura.
You will be taken on a jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park to explore Sri Lankan wildlife.
You will stay overnight in Anuradhapura.
Next day morning after the breakfast at hotel. You will be accompanied to sight see the historical ruins in ancient Anuradhapura.
You will head to a jeep safari awaiting you at Minneriya National Park.
You will stay overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 04 : Sigiriya

Your first adventure on your 4th day will be the climbing and exploring Sigiriya Lion Rock or the rock fortress for its historical ruins and panoramic view on top.
You will have a visit to the local village to explore its livelihood and try local food as well for your lunch.
You will be visiting the famous Kandalama Lake and be headed to accommodation.
You will stay overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 05 & 06 : Riverston

You will have the breakfast in the hotel and headed toward Riverston located in Mathale.
On the way you have a quick hike to Dambulla cave temple.
You will reach Riverston and explore the local surrounding, which includes a traditional Sri Lankan cuisine for lunch.
You will head to your hotel and have a good rest to prepare for the next day adventure.
On the 6th day, you will head to start your adventurous trekking in Knuckles Mountain range, where you will enjoy the beauty of nature in the forest trails ideal for camping.
After a day of hiking, you will head back to the hotel.
You will stay overnight in Riverston.

Day 05 : Kithulgala

You will head to Kithulgala in the early morning and will be visiting the sacred temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy and a short city tour in the hill capital of Sri Lanka on your way.
You will reach Kithulgala in the evening and will have a exploration tour around.
You will stay overnight in Kithulgala.
Having breakfast in Kandy, you will be headed toward Kithulgala to enjoy thrilling experiences such as white water rafting and waterfall abseiling.
The lunch will be a delicious authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry.
You will stay overnight at Kithulagala.

Day 08 : Nuwara Eliya

Early in the morning, you will start the extreme adventures in Kithulgala after the break.
You will enjoy thrilling white water rafting and waterfall abseiling in Kithulgala in the morning time.
You will be headed to Nuwara Eliya after the lunch.
On your way to Nuwara Eliya, you will visit St. Claire’s Falls and Devon Falls.
In the evening, you will be exploring the lavish tea plantations and will visit Pedro Tea Factory.
You will be staying overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 09 : Ella

After the breakfast you will check out from the hotel and will be headed to Nanu Oya Rail Way station for an unforgettable 2 hour train ride to Ella.
We will pick you up from Ella train station and will take you to the scenic Ella town in Badulla district.
You will hike the Little Adams Peak Mountain and then visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge which is an iconic location for significant travel photographs.
After an adventurous day you will stay overnight in Ella.

Day 10 : Yala

You will check out early and head straight to Tissamaharama On the way to Yala, you will witness the beauty of Rawan water fall.
You will start your an adventurous jeep safari into Yala National Park around 12 noon and will be spending the whole evening to capture the sights of Sri Lankan wildlife.
With the camping activities included, you will stay overnight in Yala.

Day 11 & 12 : Mirissa

After the game drive in Yala in the morning, you will begin your journey to Mirissa, to experience the coastal adventures and splendid beaches.
You will stop in the middle of the drive to watch the iconic stilt fishing as well.
You will spend you night in Mirissa.
Next day is fully dedicated to go on beachside adventures in Mirissa that mainly include Blue Whale and dolphin watching in the early morning sessions with definite possibilities.
You will be exploring the tropical lifestyle in Mirissa and will have a good bath in the sea with a worthy relaxation time.
At the evening you will head to the neighboring city of Galle to stay overnight.

Day 13 : Galle

You will begin your day in Galle beginning from the exploration of Galle Dutch Fort.
You will then enjoy a mesmerizing boat safari to witness the fascinating coral reefs, and if you are into snorkeling, we can arrange the adventure for you.
You will visit the Marine National Park and the Sea turtle hatchery.
After an unforgettable walk in the city of Galle for shopping, you will head to Negombo in the evening.
You will stay overnight in Negombo getting ready to mark the end of an adventurous tour in Sri Lanka.

Day 14 : Negombo

Negombo is the most convenient place to mark the end of your tour as it is the closest town to the airport, leaving a time for you to do some shopping before leaving.
You will be accompanied to the Bandaranayaka International Airport depending on the time of your flight, noting an end to an extraordinary 14 day tour around Sri Lanka.
