Places You Will Stay 8 Days

Day 01 : Colombo
  • You will be picked up by our chauffer guide and will be escorted to the accommodation in Colombo for your first night of pilgrimage tour in Sri Lanka.
  • Depending on your arrival, you will be accompanied to visit Gangaramaya Temple at Colombo.
  • You will stay overnight in Colombo.
Day 02 & 03 : Anuradhapura
  • Next day on the way to Anuradhapura, you will visit Kelaniya temple which is one of the significant Buddhist Temples in Sri Lanka.
  • You will head to explore the ancient legacy at Anuradhapura, which is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world.
  • Next day, you will visit Sacred Sri Maha Bo tree, ruins of brazen palace, Kuttam Pokuna, Ruwanvali Stupa, The Abayagiri and Jethawana Dagoba, Moon Stones and many other sacred Buddhist sites.
  • You will engage in many religious activities in the sites.
  • You will spend the night in Anuradhapura.
Day 04 : Polonnaruwa
  • Day 04 begins with the journey to Polonnaruwa, where you will visit many other Buddhist temples and historical sites such as Gal Viharaya, Royal Palace, Audience Hall, sacred Quadrangle, Shiva Temple and Rankot Vihara.
  • You will experience traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry for lunch while enjoying the locality.
  • You will stay the night in Polonnaruwa.
Day 05 : Sigiriya
  •  Next morning after breakfast, on the way to Sigiriya, you will visit Mihintale Buddhist Temple.
  • You will head to explore Sigiriya Rock Fortress or the Lion Rock and will encounter the wonders of engineering and fine arts.
  • You will stay overnight Sigiriya.
Day 06 & 07 : Kandy
  • On the way to Kandy next morning, you will visit the ancient Rock Cave temple in Dambulla to witness the perfection of ancient aesthetic in Sri Lanka.
  • And en route, you will have a quick visit to Matale Alu Viharaya.
  • In the evening, you will witness an enchanting cultural dance show before checking into the hotel.
  • You will stay the night in Kandy.
  • Next day morning, you will witness the glamour of Sri Lanka’s traditional core at the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
  • There you will visit the Maligawa Museum and Raja Tusker as well.
  • Then you will visit the temples of Gadaladeniya, Embekke and Lankathilake which are iconic symbols of Sri Lankan history of Buddhism.
  • You will stay overnight in Kandy.
Day 08 : Negombo
  • You will head back to Negombo in the morning, and depending on the time of your flight.
  • Our chaffer guide will escort you to the airport to wave you farewell to mark the end of a memorable Buddhist Pilgrimage tour in Sri Lanka.
