As the hill capital of Sri Lanka situated in the center of Sri Lanka, Kandy is located 115km from the capital city of Colombo. It is the last royal capital in Ceylon that dates back in history to the 15th century. With its abundance of cultural heritages, vibrant history and the ancient traditions still practiced, it is a major Buddhist pilgrimage destination with the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Kandy Perahera being the most sorted attractions.

Being surrounded by a range of misty mountains, refreshing tropical plantations that include mainly tea, Kandy has with cozy and cool temperatures with refreshing weather. It was once a capital of Ancient Kings its architecture, paintings, woodcarvings and the traditional customs and practices would make you feel like a local citizen offering the maximum of hospitality.
