Places You Will Stay 14 Days
Day 01 : Negombo
- You will be picked up at the airport by one of Harrods travels representative and will be accompanied to your accommodation arranged at Negombo.
Day 02 & 03 : Thanamalwila
- Checking out of the hotel, you will head toward Thanamalwila, located in the south eastern part of the country.
- You will check into Rural Farm Stay where you will have your lunch.
- You will walk around, picking vegetables to cook with the team, go on a canoe trip in the lake for fishing, have a bath and enjoy the stay.
- Next day morning, you will be visiting Weheragala National Park to witness the beauty of wildlife observing elephants, Sri Lankan leopards, crocodiles and many animal species.
- With an Ayurvedhic treatment at the evening, you will stay overnight in Rural Farm Stay.
Day 04, 05 & 06 : Arugambay
- After the breakfast you depart to Kumana National Park located near Arugam Bay for a Jeep safari.
- You will check into Hideaway Lodge and relax by the beach.
- Next day early morning, you will be escorted by a jeep, to visit Kudumbigala ancient monastery inhabited by monks meditating inside the rock caves.
- You will witness the spectacular sunrise on top.
- You will be back at your stay and spend the rest of the day enjoying sea activities and cycling around Arugam Bay as you wish.
- Next morning, you will be head to visit Muhudu Maha Viharaya, Magul Maha Viharaya, Neelagiri Buddha Statue and Tharulengala Cave, followed by a private seafood dinner at Panama Beach.
- You will stay overnight for three days in Hideaway Lodge.
Day 07 : Beragala
- With 4 hours drive, you will reach Beragala and enjoy the serendipity of natural solitude surrounding the area.
- You will check into Melheim Resort Beragala for the night.
Day 08 : Ohiya
- After breakfast, you will start trekking through scenic mountains, valleys, remote tea estates, rail road tunnels and stations, and rain forest patch in the areas of Ohiya, Haputale, Idalgashinna and Thangamalay.
- With picnic meals, enjoying the mystic beauty of nature, you will head to Ohiya remote Trekker’s Lodge to spend the night.
Day 09 : Nuwara Eliya
- In the morning you will be drivne to misty hill country of Nuwara Eliya.
- You will go straight to world famous Horton Plain National Park, which is also known as the Little England of Sri Lanka.
- You will experience the breathtaking view at the World’s End and the beauty of Bakers Falls.
- You will transfer to Kandy via a breathtaking train journey, and will be picked up at the station and will be escorted to your accommodation at Palawaththa Eco Lodge to spend your night.
Day 10 : Kandy
- After the breakfast you will go to explore rural Kandyan villages that includes waterfall bath, visit to a local school, a local bus ride, walk through paddy fields, and try a tuk tuk drive and a traditional Sri Lankan meal at a local house.
- In the evening, you will explore the culture in this enigmatic city full of Kandyan and colonial architecture.
- You will spend the night at Palawaththa Eco Lodge.
Day 11 & 12 : Habarana
- In the early morning, you will head to Habarana after visiting the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
- On the way, you will visit Dambulla Cave temple and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and check into the hotel.
- You will enjoy an active cycling adventure through rural Habarana, riding through the forest reserve to escape busy tourist routes.
- Rest of the day, you will spend at the lodge, relaxing and enjoying the sights of birds, wildlife and in taking part in traditional cuisine.
- You will spend the nights in Gakadawala forest Lodge.
Day 13 & 14 : Negombo
- Next day, you will have a city tour around Sigirya, exploring the local lifestyles and enjoy bathing in splendid natural lakes.
- In the evening, you will head back to Negombo to spend the night.
- Depending on the time of your flight you will visit Negombo fish market to witness the beauty of sandy beaches as the last activity of you off the beaten track tour in Sri Lanka.
- Our chauffer will accompany you to the Airport according to the schedule of your flight to bid farewell by marking the end of a spectacular journey in Sri Lanka.
